choice 2

i  decided to to do this its a a bow that i guess you culd say meciancs wearr to represnt thier culture or that goes with the style marachi and most have really cool designs on them i put newspaper under them so it could bend and stand outlike overlap i dont now if it loks like a horseshoe the design but i tried to do it with little i guess little flower stems

hollow project

this was  my self clay project something i dont kknow that reminds me of me because sometimes i feel like a mummy but i put newspaper in the ball and cut out hles for the eyes and juss cut slices ike strips to add the ball and wrappped it in different ways in the front so it could look like a mummy

coil project

this was my  coil pprojected that came out kind of cricked and just not that good but when i gave it ti one of my teachers they really liked it not shure why but now i give all my art work to them 

slab

this box  i created with 5 cut ut square peices of clay i decided to cut out  hearts because i think i would look good and on the other side i drew painted  rose stems  and one of them did have a rose on them

choice 1

i chose to do this boot because i love my boots i love to wear them and it kinda represents my culture and what  i do like i have horses and  i always tend to  go to to places were people are always dressed like this but i started with coiling then smooothed it out to try to form it like a boot and  i chose these colors brown because my boots are brown but yellow because its one of my favorite colors

surface designs

NEWSPRINT TRANSFER:instead of drawing on metal plate and transferring to paper they draw on newspaper to then transfer to clay instead
SLIP: you can apply coats of slips after you use the newsprint transfer but also you can keep adding coats of slip if you want to add more decorations

STAMP: you can use stamp as also decoration



URCHIN FORM : when you form until only a tiny hole remains on top

SGRAFITTO: scratching and designing and letting reveal under layers 











MISHIMA: inlaying  slip to contrasting our clay
